PONDICHERRY : 2006.08.22

When we reached our hotel, we were awaited by the leaders of the union of rickshaw drivers. At this time we were celebrities and the news channels hourly boradcasted on TV pictures of our start . We were headlines in almost every newspaper. A couple of hundred of million people have seen us. The comitee of rickshaw drivers wanted to see with thie own eyes, that truly foreigners have come from all over the world to drive their rickshaws. The photos of this meeting made headlines the next day. Pondicherry is a special city in India, because it was a French, not a British teritory. However today only some street mames reminded us about that. The hotel was on a very busy street. VIDEO Eves so the gutter was uncoovered.
